
Natalie L. Decker, Esq.
Natalie Decker is an accomplished lawyer with almost fifteen years of legal experience, including numerous jury and court trials. Natalie received her B.A., with honors, in Political Science and Communications. She went on to earn her M.A. in Communication, with honors, from the University of Colorado. In 1997, she earned her J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law, with high distinction. While in law school, Natalie was on the Iowa Law Review, Moot Court Board, participated in competitive Moot Court, was a graduate research assistant for an assistant dean of the law school, and participated in a variety of student organizations.
Natalie began practicing law in Colorado in a variety of areas. Natalie was a Senior Deputy District Attorney for one of the metro area jurisdictions where she handled a large variety of felony cases from the initial stages of investigation through their final completion via negotiations or jury trial. Additionally, Natalie coordinated the district’s New Investigator Academy, and shared her expertise through teaching at numerous law enforcement agencies, police academies, and community groups, as well as speaking to students ranging from elementary school through college.
Natalie has been an adjunct faculty member at the University of Colorado (Denver) for over thirteen years, developing and teaching a variety of law and communication related courses. Natalie also lived in Moscow, Russia, and taught on behalf of CU at Moscow State University.
